HARRIS LAW FIRM FILES ACTION ON BEHALF OF MAN INJURED FROM FALL FROM HOSPITAL WINDOW
In 2007, a Mississippi man was admitted to a hospital in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Not long after being admitted, the man started showing signs of mental impairment. He was admitted to the third floor of the hospital. At some point after physicians and nurses were aware of his hallucinations and mental impairment, the man fell from the window of his hospital room, virtually crushing his pelvic bone, sections of his spine and other bones below his waist. "When medical professionals know that a patient is suffering from mental impairment it is the duty of the hospital and medical staff to protect from harm - even from self-inflicted harm. There were several simple actions that could have been taken to prevent this injury."
The man contacted the Harris Law Firm. Harris Law Firm, P.C. has filed a lawsuit against the hospital and the alleged negligent doctors. Litigation continues.
