After graduating from high school, Attorney Harris attended Tougaloo College located in Tougaloo, Mississippi. While matriculating at Tougaloo College he was a Member of– Who’s Who Among American College and University Students;Member-Dean’s List; and President (Polemarch) of the Gamma Rho Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Prior to graduation, Attorney Harris served his country by enlisting in the United States Army. He served on active-duty for three years in the United States Army Military Intelligence Command. His duties included translating both spoken and written Chinese into English. Receiving an honorably discharge from the United States Army, Attorney Harris returned to college at Tennessee State University where he completed the requirements for a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.
After receiving the degree from Tennessee State University, Attorney Harris received a merit scholarship to attend Howard University School of Law located in Washington, D.C. While at Howard University, Attorney Harris was one of the student founders of the Howard Law Entrepreneurship & Economic Liberty Association.
Attorney Harris began his career at the Office of the Cook County State’s Attorney / Criminal Prosecutions Bureau. On May 1, 2000, he left his position as a prosecutor in the Fifth Municipal District of the Cook County Circuit Court to form Harris, Mitchell & Dinizulu, LLC.
In 2008, Attormey Harris left Harris Mitchell & Dinizulu, LLC and formed Harris Law Firm, P.C. Since forming Harris Law Firm, he concentrates his practice in the areas of Personal Injury, Medical Negligence and Criminal Defense. He has recovered millions of dollars in compensation for his clients who were injured by the negligence of others. Also, Attorney Harris has earned the reputation as an aggressive defender of those charged with crimes.
